StructSure Consulting Agreement

By booking an inspection and consultation with StructSure, you (the "Client") agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services

StructSure provides independent inspection and consultation services related to residential foundation issues, basement flooding, crawlspace moisture, and related concerns. Services include a visual inspection, verbal and/or written summary of findings, and recommendations for potential solutions and contractor engagement. StructSure does not perform repairs or remediation.

2. Payment & Booking Policy

Payment is due in full at the time of booking. All fees are non-refundable.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.

4. No Guarantees or Warranties

StructSure provides advice based on professional experience and observable conditions at the time of the consultation. However, no guarantees are made regarding the performance of any specific repair method or contractor, nor the future condition of the property.

5. Independent Status

StructSure is an independent advisor. The Client is solely responsible for selecting contractors, obtaining quotes, and overseeing any work performed. StructSure is not affiliated with or compensated by any contractor and does not supervise or guarantee repair work.

6. Limitation of Liability

StructSure's total liability for any claim related to the consultation shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client. Under no circumstances shall StructSure be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Additional Charge for Lengthy Assessments

StructSure reserves the right to charge additional fees for inspections that extend beyond the designated inspection window. While this does not happen often, occasionally a structure presents challenges that are unforeseen, resulting in an extended assessment duration. If an inspection extends to more than 30 minutes beyond the designated inspection window, StructSure will charge an additional $20 for every 30 minutes of assessment time. This allows for a 30-minute "grace period" with no additional charge. For example, if you booked an appointment for 2:00 - 4:00 PM and the inspection was completed at 4:30 PM, there would be no additional fee. However, if the inspection were to go to 4:31 or later, every half hour of inspection past that point would accrue an additional $20 charge.

If StructSure believes the inspection will take more than 90 minutes longer than the inspection window, StructSure will inform the homeowner before moving forward and will not continue unless the customer agrees to continued charges.

8. Intellectual Property

Any written reports, recommendations, or informational materials provided are for the Client's personal use and may not be reproduced, published, or distributed without permission.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
